Blackened brass cap badge with 2 loops to reverse. Worn 1940-42. Militia unit at outbreak of WWII. Following Japan's entry into the war, it was mobilised for war. Amalgamated with the 31st Battalion Kennedy Regiment to form the 31st/51st Battalion in 1943. Served in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands where it saw action at Tsimba Ridge and Porton Plantation.
