Very nice set comprising a painted photograph in period gilt frame and an officer's French pattern gilt shako plate with 2 loops to reverse. Inscription to back of frame reads 'Richard Wm Barnardiston Crowther (afterwards 1874 Crowther-Beynon) b.1836 d.1878 was first in 63rd Regt. and later exchanged into 1st Royal Scots'.
