Officer's silver and gilt shoulder belt plate with 2 hooks and 2 studs to reverse. This design was worn in silver sometime after 1830. The honours Ava and Tarifa were added and the backplate was gilt. There was a final change before 1855 when the use of plates was abolished. The exact date of the first change is unknown.
