Royal New Zealand Air Force Chaplain K/C
Chaplain's hat with economy badge. Gilt crown and wings sewn on cloth backing. Real roan leather band to inside (partly detached). One slight stain to top of cap, but a very rare piece of headdress. In October 1940 the first eight full time chaplains were appointed and commissioned with the relative rank of Flight Lieutenant. I would think this economy version was one of the eight. read more
