Hampshire Carabiniers Yeomanry QVC circa 1897-01

Officer's bi-metal undress sabretache badge with 3 bolts and 1 nut to reverse. Fixed in the centre of the plain black leather sabretache and worn by officer's from c1897 to 1901 before the sabretache was abolished in 1902. Mostly brass, with white metal making up the outer petals of the rose and the 'Carabiniers' scroll at the base of the badge. 105mm in height
