Hampshire Carabiniers Imperial Yeomanry 1900

Sealed pattern insignia. A fine rare Boer War example. Board titled 'Officer's Badges Hampshire Carabiniers I Yeo' and War Office dated February 1900. Mounted on the board, a Victorian crowned yellow brass cap badge entitled 'Felt Hat Badge' with note below 'Future issues to have 'Tudor crown'. Also a pair of bi-metal King's crown collar badges and a pair of brass Hants Carabiniers 'Shoulder strap badges'. Front bears King's crown red wax War Office seal and to the reverse pink ribbon securing the badges and sealed with red wax seal of the 'Adjutant General Standard Pattern Seal'.
