Scarce woven cloth arm badge approved in 1947 for wear on the right upper arm. Introduced in 1949 for the left arm, as the right arm was deemed to be crowded. Very unpopular and almost totally ignored by the regiment and the cavalry, who preferred their own regimental distinctions.
