Scarce Polish Holy Cross Mountains Brigade silver plated breast badge, numbered 3750 with screw post fitting on the reverse. Badge has an unmarked copper dish to the reverse. Good overall condition. The Holy Cross Mountains Brigade was a tactical unit of the Polish underground NSZ organisation during WWII. In 1944, they did not obey orders and merged with the home army and as a result were part of the NSZ-ZJ faction. During WWII this unit fought both the Germans, Soviets and other underground communist units
