5th Middlesex Rifle Volunteers QVC

Other ranks blackened brass helmet plate with 3 loops to reverse. Formed as the 9th Middlesex RVC in 1859. Renumbered in 1880 as the 5th. Headquarters were at Lord's Cricket Ground in St.John's Wood London. Became 9th Battalion Middlesex in 1908
