Cheshire Yeomanry

Woven cloth shoulder title. At the start of WWII they were part of the 6th Cavalry Brigade. They were one of the last regiments to fight on horseback. Fought in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. Became a signals regiment in 1942. As the 17th L of C Signals Regiment (Cheshire Yeomanry) saw service in North West Europe. Ref Mills Book 2 p1061
