Bronzed brass cap badge with 2 loops to reverse. The battalion had a long road to its final title. Formed at Godstone in 1860. Redesignated 2nd VB in 1883. After moves to Reigate and Dorking, in 1891 moved to Guilford and became 5th Battalion Queen's in 1908
