Scarce blackened brass glengarry badge with 3 loops to reverse. Irish militia. Two serpents intertwined with heads facing and between these the inscription 'Prudens Et Serpens'. Became 3rd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers in 1881. Ref K&K Vol1 1281
