Eaton Motor Machine Gun Battery CEF K/C

Very rare officer's bronze cap badge with 2 loops to reverse. Part of the 1st Canadian Motor Machine Gun Battery 1914. Eatons were absorbed in 1916 as D Company. Fought on the Western Front. A short lived badge. This is officer quality bronze not oxidised copper. The 1st Canadian MMG Brigade was formed from Sifton's Battery and The Automobile Machine Gun Brigade. Ref Cox p103 no.831
