White metal cap badge with slide to reverse. Formed in 1920 from the 17th London. Carrying Tower Hamlets Rifles to centre and South Africa scroll. Suffered badly in North Africa in WWII. Re-raised in 1947 as LAA Regt. RA (Rifle Brigade) wearing RA badges. Ref Gaylor plate 37
