27th Lancers WWII

Woven cloth 3 piece combination formation sign as worn. 11th Armoured Division (Ref Morris Part 1 p15), below which a regimental flash being a grey/blue and yellow felt lance pennon and below that a RA Corps arm of service strip (Ref Seaman For Hostilities Only p149 and 150 for photo). This was an Independent Reconnaissance Regiment for Allied Forces Headquarters in Egypt, Italy and Austria. Disbanded in August 1945. Unused condition
