XIV Corps 1943 Central Mediterranean Force
Woven cloth formation sign. Allied armies in Italy were the high command of the Italian Campaign, and this corps was a decoy group devised to confuse the Axis Forces. The Allied Army saw much hard fighting at Monte Casino, the Anzio Landings, the liberation of Rome, Gothic line and Gustav line. A very rare formation sign.
