White metal cap badge with 2 loops to reverse. Formed in October 1941. In 1944 saw much heavy fighting at Sangshak 21st - 26th March. Suffered very heavy casualties totaling 40 officers and 545 NCOs and other ranks. Fought their way to Imphal and achieved its task of preventing the Japanese from surrounding Imphal and destroying IV Corps
