Highland Borderers Light Infantry Militia pre 1881

Officer's silver plated plaid brooch with pin to reverse. Consisted of the arms of Stirling, Dunbarton, Clackmannan and Kinross. Became 3rd Battalion Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders in July 1883. 1933-437 scratched in back. A lovely item. Ex Steve Bloomer collection
