1st Dundee Volunteer Battalion
Very scarce pair of white metal collar badges each with 2 loops to reverse. Titled as above in 1887 but changed in 1889 to City of Dundee. Worn with a small St Andrew's cross as a 2 part collar badge. The badge represented their Dundee origins being the sole charge from the arms of the Royal Burgh, 'Azure, a pott of growing lillies argent.' A good matched pair, one has slightly pinched loops.
