9th Scots Division WWI

Silver thistle with 2 loops to reverse on blue felt formation sign. Felt possibly not period. Division part of 'First Hundred Thousand' that went to France in May 1915 and remained until 1918. After war was part of the occupation force in the Rhineland. Disbanded in March 1919. Ref Morris WWI Formation Signs
